The following statements are a subset of our Overload Gauge™. They seek to gauge your present thoughts and/or feelings about some of the key causes of e-mail overload.

Congratulations! You are doing fine. You have learned to control the overload problem. Be a mentor to someone who needs your help. It will do you good.

Ë  15 - 20= Managed Overload
You are doing well. Watch for e-mail overload traps. Remember bad habits are contagious.

Ë  20 - 34= Danger Zone
You are overloaded. Learn to prioritize and filter your e-mail wisely. Batch process your e-mail and use filtering tools that may available as part of your e-mail software.

Ë  35 - 50= Highly Overloaded
Things may be out of control. You need immediate changes. Redefine your e-mail handling protocol and habits.  Seek help as soon as you can.
