The above chart is a consolidated summary of all participants’ average results for The Effectiveness and Overload Gauge™. This needs assessment survey, taken before the workshop, helps us focus the workshop content for optimum results. Taken 8 weeks after our training this survey provides an objective assessment of individual and group change and realized benefits.

Overall Overload Gauge: This is a high level summary of all survey statements and indicators = 29% improvement

Filtering System: This reflects the ability to focus and prioritize on higher value roles and goals = 26% improvement
Inbox Systems: This points to the effective handling of unrealistic demands created by e-mail, phone, paper, interruptions, and meetings = 29% improvement
Filing System: This indicates the changes by creating a clutter free filing system that improves effectiveness and the timely access to needed information = 31% improvement
Work Overload: The goal is reducing excessive hours worked per week = 8 % improvement

Time in Meetings ▀ and Meeting Effectiveness: The amount of time in meetings when examined along with meeting effectiveness points to individual effectiveness in collaboration and communication. Time spent in meetings increased by 6%. This is good. Meeting effectiveness improved by 21%. This is very good.

When related to the average hours worked per week, this improvement is equal to an average of 1.97 hours per person per week. Please note that if lost opportunity costs are considered this benefit may doubled.
